Technical Info:

Equipment:  Martin D18   It’s an old one made in 1940 that looks like it’s been played with a dinner fork.

Recording: Used a variety of microphones as well as direct line into a mixing board, and then into my Macintosh Computer. Recorded, effects added, and mixed using Deck ll.

Esoteric stuff:

Experience-Jan

Played chords as a child. Put down the guitar as teen. Picked it up again in my 40’s. Still play chords. Needed something to accompany my singing.  The piano just does not do it for me. I mostly play at home, but I have played in public 3 times. My guitar is a 1975 Martin 00-21.

This is the second tune Ron and I have written together, the first I performed in public. It came out of the loss of my favorite pastime, going to Grateful Dead shows. I missed going to the shows the most on those fall/winter evenings. I still miss the music, but now I am starting to make my own.

Experience Ron-

I’ve been playin’ since I was 12.  I’ve gigged almost every weekend for the last 23 years.  I’m in my late 40’s and playing guitar is still way more enjoyable then my other job at the sewage treatment plant.
